It's not that I'm a fan of Star Cinema movies, but I am more of a fan of great story from a great movie.


Starring John Lloyd Cruz and Angel Locsin. The story actually is very brave and sexy.

Nagkataon kasi na the girl practices casual relationship, non-committal, no ties, ayaw n’ya ng boyfriend-girlfriend, basta for fun lang! Then the character of the guy, gusto s’yang paniwalain ulit sa love, na better pa din pag pormal na relasyon than a casual relationship!” - Box-Office Director, Cathy Garcia-Molina

I had a good time watching the movie, there's this scene of a Tetchi Agbayani, mother of Angel Locsin in the movie, on their kitchen floor, with earphones, listening to her iPOD while crying, and she's broken-hearted. You'll see, that the different flavors of love in the movie not only with the two main characters but also those characters around them.

Love really is such a thing and may label man or wala, still you'll feel something special for that same person no matter what you call it. All you gotta do is let go of your fear and don't stop loving.

My Verdict:

• Very good story, brave and sexy.
• A must watch! =)

JULIE: your haven beneath heaven

Trying to find solace? Peace of mind? Or maybe even try to get away from constant worry?

Wonder where you can find a place where you can hit upon all these without going distance?

Aha! I’ve known a place that’s just a stone throw away from the city.

 It would only take you around 3 hours drive to reach the attractive town of Lobo. Before reaching the town where Almalin Beach Resort is located you will drive thru a narrow winding road with a scenic view of the mountains.

 It wasn’t my first time to visit the place but I still feel the same sensation of wonder whenever I step foot on that white sand beaches.

Annie seems to be very excited the moment she saw the beach that she even jump off the tricycle! (it was her first time obviously! The three of us were so kilig with the place!) We were the only visitor (me, Annie and mica) at that time and so it feels like as if we rented the whole place. We unpacked our things and readied ourselves for early dinner. While Annie and Mica were preparing our food I busied myself appreciating the beauty of the place.

After dinner; the water was too relaxing..it was not cold nor that hot

Right after we enjoyed all the waters on the pool we took a quick shower and prepare ourselves to sleep. We had a long day and  we are so tired!

This king sized bed with mosquito net fits all the three of us.

DAY 2....

              

 Day 2 was made all for fun! Annie and Mica woke up at 4:00 am for our breakfast; I woke up at 5 to eat! We went to the beach and took some pictures (we’re kind of hesitant to swim since it’s very early and no is around except the three of us) finally! Rafael (lifeguard) went out, and so we’re ready to swim! 

Even the beach was all ours! The water was warm and refreshing; when sun has finally risen up we went back inside the resort and dived to the pool! :D

It’s time to leave at 1:00 pm. No one wants to leave the place! (Haha) We took some more pictures for remembrance........

This trip to Almalin seems very short so we agreed to come again another time with some of our friends so they can also enjoy the place I am talking of; words aren't enough to describe its beauty.So come! :)

Julie: 20 years and counting :)

It is the 10^th of October, the day after my awesome birthday!

I want to briefly thank everyone who has sent warm, sweet and beautiful “Happy Birthday” wishes over e-mails, text messages, and instant messages, Facebook, Twitter etc. All those wishes meant a lot to me and absolutely made my day. I cannot thank you enough for being so kind and thoughtful. You truly have made my day so very special. My birthday only gets better by each year and I’m sincerely thankful that I have. A big thank you to everyone! It’s appreciated!!!

On this special day of mine, I had some personal reflections for the year. I reflect on all the friends and relationships I have made, formed and renewed for the past year. I remember the events, happenings and people that have influenced me to help me become who I am, I become totally inspired and fully committed to achieve more. I learn and relearn, and give thanks. :)

Birthday presents, birthday cake and whatever birthday things doesn’t seem to matter anymore (pero mas Masaya sana kung meron).At this age, birthday is not a big deal to me anymore. The thing makes me happy wasn’t the expensive gift I’ve got (yeah, that too =) but the thoughts that count. What appeals to me most is that when people whom I have walked with the past year takes time to make effort of greeting me a simple “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” out of their busy schedules. Besides, Papa God has never stopped giving me presents! (So everyday feeling ko birthday ko)… but I must say that this is year is my most blessed year ever! This year I graduated, had a job, celebrated our anniversary, found and kept new trusted friends and still got my family behind me J so ano pa bang mahihiling ko?? :) 

So that’s it for my birthday month .I had lots of fun! Let’s do it again next year!
